Half-Time Report: Wolverhampton Wanderers in front at the break

Goals from James Henry and Danny Batth either side of a Joe Newell strike give Wolverhampton Wanderers a 2-1 lead at half time against Rotherham United.

Goals from James Henry and Danny Batth either side of a Joe Newell strike have given Wolverhampton Wanderers a 2-1 lead at half time against Rotherham United.

Jordan Graham whipped in a dangerous cross that bounced in front of the Millers defence and Henry stooped to convert with a header inside the first five minutes.

The home side had goalkeeper Lee Camp to thank for keeping the score down when he kept out a point-blank header on 10 minutes.

Lee Frecklington perhaps should have done better when he met a cross with a header that flew over the crossbar.

The Millers were forced into an early change when Danny Ward was withdrawn for Matt Derbyshire but they were level on 18 minutes when Joe Newell diverted Harry Toffolo's effort into the net.

Frecklington went close just before the half-hour mark with a well-struck attempt that whistled just wide.

Wolves restored their advantage at the end of the half when Batth rose highest to power a downwards header home.
