Team News: Real Madrid field unchanged side for visit of Villarreal

Carlo Ancelotti names an unchanged side as La Liga leaders Real Madrid take on Villarreal in the Spanish capital.

Real Madrid have named an unchanged side for the La Liga clash with Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Carlo Ancelotti's team are looking to restore their four-point advantage at the top of the table, and the Italian has stuck with the same 11 that claimed a 2-0 victory at Elche last weekend.

It means that Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema once again lead the attack for the hosts, while Lucas Silva keeps his place in midfield alongside Toni Kroos and Isco.

Villarreal are without Denis Cheryshev due to the conditions of his loan from Real, and Luciano Vietto is once again forced to settle for a spot on the bench in the league.

Gerard Moreno and Giovani dos Santos will offer the big attacking threat for the visitors, while there is also a start for Joel Campbell.
