Team News: Three changes for Aston Villa

Steve Bruce makes three changes to his Aston Villa side for their trip to Leeds United.

Steve Bruce has made three changes to his Aston Villa side for their trip to high-flying Leeds United this evening.

Captain Tommy Elphick returns to the back four after Nathan Baker was ruled out with a groin injury, while Rudy Gestede joins Jonathan Kodjia up front.

Craig Gardner also comes into the side as Jack Grealish and Jordan Ayew drop down to the bench.

Ross McCormack fails to make the matchday squad with an ankle problem, as does Micah Richards, who is still struggling with a calf injury.

Leeds manager Garry Monk, meanwhile, makes two alterations to the side that won at Rotherham United last weekend as they look for their fifth win in six Championship games.

Liam Cooper took an ankle knock in the 2-0 EFL Cup defeat at Liverpool in midweek and is replaced in the backline by Pontus Jansson, who is fit again after a recent illness.

The other change sees Ronaldo Vieira join come in to partner Kalvin Phillips at defensive mid, with Eunan O'Kane kept out by a groin injury.
