How Barcelona could line up against Real Betis

Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Real Betis.

Barcelona will be looking for just their third La Liga victory of the season when they welcome Manuel Pellegrini's Real Betis team to Camp Nou on Saturday afternoon.

The Catalan giants are without a victory in their last four league encounters and currently sit down in 12th position in the table, already nine points off league leaders Real Sociedad.

Barca were held to a 1-1 draw by Alaves last weekend, although they will enter this match off the back of a 2-1 win over Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the home side could line up this weekend.

Barca will again be without the services of Samuel Umtiti and Phillips Coutinho through injury, while Ronald Araujo is also unlikely to be involved due to a hamstring issue.

The club's number one goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is set to make his first La Liga appearance of the campaign, though, having made his return from injury in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Koeman is expected to make changes from the European fixture, with Clement Lenglet and Sergi Roberto likely to return to the back four, which would allow Frenkie de Jong to return to his usual midfield spot after playing as a central defender against Dynamo Kiev.

Ousmane Dembele and Trincao are pushing for spots in the final third of the field, but Ansu Fati, Pedri and Antoine Griezmann are again expected to support Lionel Messi.

Griezmann was withdrawn in the early stages of the second half on Wednesday, but the France international scored his first league goal of the season against Alaves last weekend.

Messi, meanwhile, has only scored one penalty in six league appearances this term, with the 33-year-old's form called into question after attempting to leave Camp Nou over the summer.
