Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Eric Dier reportedly has no plans to leave the Lilywhites in the current transfer window.
The England international is only under contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for another 12 months, and there has been increasing doubt over whether he will pen an extension.
Dier was a fundamental part of the Tottenham XI for the majority of the 2022-23 season, and he was initially said to have been in advanced talks over a new deal.
However, the 29-year-old was often criticised by supporters for his perceived poor performances, and he was dropped from Ryan Mason's starting lineup towards the back end of a season.
As a result, contract talks between the two parties appear to have hit a standstill, and there have been suggestions that Dier could be allowed to leave on a free transfer in 2024.

An exit this summer has also been mooted as Ange Postecoglou aims to bolster his defensive ranks this summer, but The Telegraph claims that Dier does not want to leave in the coming weeks.
The report claims that Dier intends to stay and fight for his place under Postecoglou, whom he is excited to begin working under in pre-season.
Having not been called up to the England squad for June's Euro 2024 qualifiers, Dier was among the non-international players to return to Hotspur Way for training on Saturday.
The former Sporting Lisbon man recently underwent an operation to correct a groin injury, which had apparently been hampering him since the World Cup over the winter, and he has now fully recovered from the procedure.
Furthermore, Dier has supposedly received no dialogue from Tottenham that they are working to sell him this summer, even with the possibility of a new centre-back arriving.

As one of the more experienced players in the squad, Postecoglou could also be reluctant to let Dier leave if Hugo Lloris and Harry Kane both depart in the coming weeks.
Dier left Sporting in 2014 and has since represented Tottenham on 361 occasions in all tournaments, recording 13 goals and 12 assists in the process.
The 29-year-old posted two goals and one assist from 33 matches in the 2022-23 Premier League season, starting 31 games but failing to play a single minute in their final three top-flight affairs.
Tottenham are thought to have earmarked Wolfsburg's Micky van de Ven as a top defensive target, while Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi and Fulham's Tosin Adarabioyo have reportedly also been shortlisted.
The Lilywhites have already brought James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario to the club this summer, while Dejan Kulusevski's loan move from Juventus has been converted into a permanent deal.
