Unsettled Paul Pogba 'open to Juventus return'

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly open to a return to Juventus next summer.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly open to a return to Juventus despite being strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane's side were credited with a firm interest in the France international during the summer transfer window, but the Spanish giants could not agree a transfer fee with the 20-time English champions.

Pogba was heavily involved in United's preparations for the 2019-20 campaign despite the speculation, while the 2018 World Cup winner has been a key figure for the team this season - only missing matches through injury.

The 26-year-old is still said to be determined to leave Old Trafford, and Madrid are reportedly eyeing a January swoop for the powerful midfielder.

However, according to Calciomercato, Juve are keeping a close eye on developments at United after learning that Pogba is open to a return to the club that he left in 2016.

The Frenchman scored 34 times in 178 appearances for the Old Lady between 2012 and 2016, winning four Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia crowns during his time in Turin.

United are allegedly keen to agree a new contract with Pogba, but it has been reported that the former Le Havre youngster would want an offer of £600,000 a week in wages before even considering penning a new deal at a club currently struggling for results.
