Paris Saint-Germain reportedly emerge as the favourites to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba next summer.

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly emerge as favourites to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba next summer.

Despite their best efforts, United have failed to extend the World Cup winner's contract past the end of the current season.

With the 28-year-old allowed to speak to foreign clubs at the turn of the year, there is an acceptance that no progress will be made until the playmaker has assessed his options.

While Real Madrid are long-term admirers of Pogba, Fichajes claims that PSG remain as the clear frontrunners to agree a deal for the Frenchman.

The report suggests that there has already been dialogue between the Ligue 1 leaders and Pogba's agent Mino Raiola ahead of formal talks beginning next year.

Pogba remains an important player for United with seven assists coming from his 12 appearances in all competitions this season.
