AC Milan could attempt to bring Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot back to the club this summer, according to a report.

AC Milan could reportedly attempt to re-sign Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot this summer.

The 22-year-old joined the Italian giants on loan from the Red Devils last summer and was a regular during the 2020-21 campaign, making 33 appearances in all competitions.

A recent report claimed that Milan would not pursue a permanent move for the defender, as they were not prepared to meet Man United's asking price.

However, according to Milan News, the Italian outfit could yet attempt to bring the Portuguese back to San Siro for the 2021-22 campaign.

Dalot, who has also been linked with Napoli, said that it was "a real pleasure" to represent Milan when questioned on his time with the club.

The former Porto youngster still has two years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford, but it does not appear that he is in the immediate plans of Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
