Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri says that he is unsure of Paul Pogba's plans for next season, with the midfielder's contract at Manchester United set to expire at the end of June.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri said that he is unsure of Paul Pogba's plans for next season when questioned on the Manchester United midfielder's future.

The France international's contract at Old Trafford is due to expire at the end of June, and he is unlikely to sign an extension, meaning that he could leave the Red Devils on a free transfer for the second time in his career.

Juventus are believed to be interested in re-signing the World Cup winner, with the Italian giants said to be in the race alongside the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

Allegri has said that he has "a great relationship" with Pogba, but the Old Lady head coach is unsure what the 28-year-old has planned for the 2022-23 campaign.

"Makes no sense to talk about him. Paul plays for Man United and I don't know what he's going to do next season. I had a great relationship with Pogba, that's true - but it's not time to talk about new signings," Allegri told reporters.

Pogba has been in impressive form for Man United since returning from a thigh problem last month, scoring his first goal of the campaign against Burnley on February 8.

The Frenchman previously represented Juventus between 2012 and 2016, winning four Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia trophies during his time in Turin.
