Liverpool could reportedly decide to sell Colombia international Luis Diaz amid interest from Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

Liverpool are reportedly set to decide whether to offload Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain target Luis Diaz.

The Reds are currently experiencing a period of change off the pitch, with Michael Edwards returning to the club as Fenway Sports Group CEO.

Richard Hughes has subsequently been appointed as Liverpool's new sporting director and will take on the position when he leaves his role as Bournemouth's technical director this summer.

Liverpool are also searching for a replacement for manager Jurgen Klopp, who will vacate his role at the end of the season.

Not only is there change taking place away from the pitch, the Reds could also experience some turnover among their playing squad ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

According to The Telegraph, Liverpool could opt to sell Diaz in the summer transfer transfer window amid interest from the likes of Barcelona and PSG.

Diaz is currently under contract until the summer of 2027 after signing a five-and-a-half year deal upon his arrival from Porto in January 2022.

Despite having three years left to run on his deal, there is a suggestion that Liverpool need to decide whether to offer him a new long-term contract or sanction his departure.

If they decide to sanction a sale, the Reds will be looking to attract a transfer fee in the region of £75m for the Colombia international.

European giants considering moves

Liverpool's asking price could prove to be a stumbling block for Barcelona, who are restricted by their well-publicised financial issues.

PSG, meanwhile, are looking to bolster their attacking options, with Kylian Mbappe set to leave the French champions at the end of the season.

Mbappe is widely expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer, which will leave a sizeable void in the PSG frontline.

PSG seemingly view Diaz as a potential transfer target, having been left impressed by his performances in a Liverpool shirt.

Diaz has been a regular fixture in Klopp's side this season, scoring 13 goals and providing four assists in 42 competitive appearances.
