Team News: Lewis Holtby starts for Hamburger SV against Schalke 04

Hamburger SV name Lewis Holtby in their side for the final game of the season against Schalke 04.

Attacking midfielder Lewis Holtby has been named in the starting lineup for Hamburger SV's relegation clash with Schalke 04.

Holtby starts in place of the suspended Rafael van der Vaart for the game, which they must win to have any hope of retaining their Bundesliga status.

Chile international Marcelo Diaz has been recalled into midfield ahead of Marcell Jansen, while veteran Ivica Olic starts up front.

Julian Draxler is not fit enough to start for Schalke, but he is named among the substitutes.

Benedikt Howedes misses out through injury and is replaced by Marvin Friedrich, while Max Meyer also starts.

Hamburger SV: Adler, Westermann, Djourou, Rajkovic, Ostrzolek, Diaz, Kacar, Olic, Holtby, Ilicevic, Lasogga.

Schalke 04: Fahrmann, Kolasinac, Nastasic, Matip, Barnetta, Goretzka, Aogo, Choupo-Moting, Draxler, Farfan, Huntelaar.
