Juventus are reportedly about to offer Zinedine Zidane the chance to succeed Massimiliano Allegri, putting Chelsea under pressure to make the Frenchman an offer.

Chelsea are reportedly under pressure to make their move for Zinedine Zidane as the former Real Madrid boss is expected to be offered the Juventus job.

The Blues are believed to have made appointing the Frenchman, out of work since departing Madrid at the end of last season, their big priority ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

However, Chelsea have delayed making a formal approach for Zidane as Maurizio Sarri continues to cling on to his job, despite concerns behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge that the Italian has lost the dressing room.

According to The Sun, the West London outfit know they have to move now for Zidane as Juventus - where the 46-year-old spent a large part of his career - are also keen to appoint him.

Massimiliano Allegri is currently in charge at the Allianz Stadium and is on course to win a fifth successive Serie A title, but he has allegedly informed Juve that he intends to step aside in June.

Zidane won three Champions Leagues, two UEFA Super Cups, two Club World Cups and one La Liga crown during his three seasons at the Bernabeu.
