Sunday's Premier League predictions including Manchester City vs. Arsenal

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Manchester City vs. Arsenal.

Liverpool vs. Brighton (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Roberto De Zerbi's prospective Liverpool audition is scheduled for 2pm on Easter Sunday, as Brighton & Hove Albion arrive at Anfield for a Premier League date with the Reds.

Reeling from losing out on one of their prime managerial candidates, the hosts can put smiles back on the Kop's faces by returning to the top of the pile, for a couple of hours at least.

We say: Liverpool 3-0 Brighton & Hove Albion

The outcome of Sunday's game should not dictate whether De Zerbi is indeed invited to interview for the Liverpool job, but the Italian's record away from home against top-half Premier League teams makes for grim reading.

The Seagulls have had Liverpool's number in recent times, but the break certainly came at a more opportune time for the hosts, who have our backing to - at least momentarily - rise to the summit via a convincing success.

Man City vs. Arsenal (Sunday, 4.30pm)

An Easter Sunday Etihad extravaganza headlines the return of Premier League football following the international break, as holders Manchester City welcome leaders Arsenal to their headquarters for a battle of epic proportions.

Mikel Arteta returns to his former stomping ground with his side boasting a one-point lead over the treble winners, which will increase to four if they can banish their nine-year Etihad curse.

We say: Manchester City 1-1 Arsenal

Sunday's appetizing affair pits the unstoppable force of Arsenal - boasting a 100% Premier League record in 2024 - against the immovable object of Man City, without defeat on their own patch in an astounding 16 months.

The apparent absences of Walker and Stones - if Guardiola's words are to be believed - should see Martinelli step foot onto the Etihad turf with a glint in his eyes if he is indeed passed fit, and the customary Etihad defeat should not be on the menu for Arsenal this weekend.

However, with City as irrepressible as ever in front of the home crowd, a share of the spoils seems the likeliest outcome from Sunday's main event - one point which should be more warmly-received by the away end than the Citizens faithful.
