Mikel Arteta firmly believes that there is light at the end of the tunnel for Arsenal after their first Premier League win of the season over Norwich City.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has affirmed that there is "light" at the end of the tunnel for his side.

The Gunners endured a torrid opening three games to the Premier League season, losing against Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City without scoring a single goal.

However, Arsenal got over the line 1-0 against Norwich City last weekend, and the Spaniard firmly believes that things will start looking up for his side in the coming weeks.

Speaking to the media ahead of Saturday's clash with Burnley, Arteta said: "I can really see the light. I am very positive. Most of the times I've seen the light and I can see a bright light. There can be bumps on the road within that light but I can see a lot of light."

The Clarets welcome Arsenal to Turf Moor without a win in the Premier League this season, although Sean Dyche has just put pen to paper on a new four-year deal at the club.

Arteta also refused to confirm whether Aaron Ramsdale or Bernd Leno would start against Burnley, but he praised the latter's reaction to being dropped for the win over Norwich.
