Mark McCall praises "relentless" Saracens

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall praises his players for their "relentless" display following Friday's night's 39-0 thrashing of Harlequins in the Aviva Premiership.

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall has praised his team for their "relentless" performance during Friday's 39-0 thrashing of Harlequins.

Charlie Hodgson scored 22 points at Twickenham Stoop last night as Sarries earned a comprehensive win over their rivals in the Aviva Premiership.

"We were pretty relentless out there and because of that we were able to build a lot of pressure," McCall is quoted as saying by ESPN. "We weren't expecting a scoreline like that, but we wanted a performance full of energy and we got that.

"Charlie was one of several people who played really well and he'll be the first to say the pack gave him a great platform. Charlie pulled the strings beautifully."

Saracens continue their Aviva Premiership campaign next Saturday when they make the trip to London Irish.
