Ethan Ebanks-Landell heads Wolverhampton Wanderers into a 1-0 lead over Nottingham Forest at half time.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell has earned Wolverhampton Wanderers a 1-0 lead at the halfway stage of their Championship clash with Nottingham Forest at Molineux.

Forest made a bright start when Matt Mills connected with a free kick to find Eric Lichaj, who could only send his shot wide of the target.

It was Wolves who took the lead inside 15 minutes, however, as Ebanks-Landell punished poor marking in the box to power home a header from Jordan Graham's free kick.

Wolves supporters were certain that they should have been awarded a penalty when Mills brought down Adam Le Fondre with a clumsy challenge, but the referee ignored the protests from the hosts.

Graham should have levelled the score just prior to the interval, but he could only send a shot into the side-netting after exchanging passes with James Henry to burst into the box.
