Laurent Blanc still wants Paris Saint-Germain improvement

Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc insists that his team can still improve despite making it 33 league games unbeaten against Lorient on Wednesday night.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has insisted that his team can still improve despite their record-breaking run in Ligue 1.

The French champions opened up a 24-point lead at the top of their domestic table with a 3-1 win over Lorient on Wednesday night.

It is now 33 league games since PSG last suffered defeat, but Blanc was not entirely satisfied with his team's performance last time out.

"It wasn't a great match, but we made a lot of changes from the side that played against Saint-Etienne and the players are starting to feel the fatigue," Blanc told reporters.

"Despite that, I think we deserved to win. We set a new record for 33 matches without defeat, but we will have to improve for the upcoming matches."

PSG have only conceded 11 times in their 24 league games this season, scoring 61 times in the process.
