Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc reiterates the club's intention to keep Jadon Sancho amid reports that Real Madrid have joined the race to sign the 19-year-old.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has reiterated the club's intention to keep hold of Jadon Sancho this summer amid renewed speculation of interest from Europe's biggest clubs.

Sancho has enjoyed a stunning breakthrough season at the Westfalenstadion, establishing himself as one of Europe's brightest prospects with 11 goals and 14 assists in 31 Bundesliga outings.

Manchester United were thought to be leading the race for his signature, but recent reports have suggested that Real Madrid have also now registered their interest in the £100m-rated 19-year-old.

However, Zorc has once again insisted that the England international is not for sale and ruled out any prospect of him leaving the club this summer.

"No, we did not receive anything [an offer]. We do not expect anything and we do not want anything, because he is on our plans," Zorc told Sky Sports News.

"He will play for Borussia Dortmund next season. Nobody needs to get in touch."

Sancho's form has helped Dortmund launch a title challenge in the Bundesliga this season, although their hopes of overhauling Bayern Munich took a blow in an ill-tempered derby defeat to Schalke 04 this afternoon.
