Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all table contract proposals to Barcelona's Ronald Araujo, according to a report.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have reportedly all tabled contract proposals to Ronald Araujo, as the speculation surrounding the Barcelona defender's future continues.

Araujo has entered the final 18 months of his deal at Camp Nou, and the Catalan giants are believed to be finding it difficult to come to an agreement with the Uruguay international over an extension.

According to Spanish journalist Gerard Romero, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United are all keen to bring the centre-back to the Premier League.

Romero claims that Arsenal and Liverpool have both offered Araujo a contract worth €6m (£5m) a year to make the move to England, while Man United have placed a proposal of €8m (£6.7m) a year on the table.

Araujo has been an important player for Xavi's side during the 2021-22 campaign, making 31 appearances in all competitions, contributing three assists in the process.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently suggested that his club were not close to agreeing a new deal with the South American when asked about the latest developments.
