Team News: AS Monaco leave Dimitar Berbatov on bench for Lorient clash

Dimitar Berbatov is named among the substitutes for Monaco's trip to Lorient on the final day of the Ligue 1 season.

Dimitar Berbatov has been left out of the AS Monaco starting lineup as they look to secure Champions League football next season with victory at Lorient.

Leonardo Jardim, perhaps mindful of playing on a synthetic surface at the Stade du Moustoir, has opted for youngster Anthony Martial alongside Bernardo Silva and Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco in attack.

The Portuguese coach does, however, keep faith with the experienced Jeremy Toulalan in a three-man midfield with Joao Moutinho and Geoffrey Kondogbia.

Aymen Abdennour will not return for Les Rouges et Blanc until next season due to injury, while Andrea Raggi is suspended.

Meanwhile, Lorient coach Sylvain Ripoll has kept faith with the same starting lineup from his side's 1-1 draw with Nantes last weekend.

The hosts only injury of note is to young striker Benjamin Jeannot, who has missed most of the last month with ankle and knee problems.

Lorient: Lecomte, Kone, Guerreiro, Lautoa, Gassama, Mostefa, Jouffre, Ndong, Mesloub, Philippoteaux, Ayew

Monaco: Subasic, Carvalho, Wallace, Fabinho, Kurzawa, Moutinho, Toulalan, Kondogbia, Ferreira-Carrasco, Silva, Martial
