Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold hints that he is planning to spend his entire career at Anfield.

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has suggested that he is planning to spend his entire career at Anfield with the view to becoming "a club legend".

The 21-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2018-19 campaign for Jurgen Klopp's side and has again been in fine form for the European Cup holders during the current season.

The England international has contributed 10 assists in 27 appearances for the Reds this term, including eight assists in 18 Premier League outings for the runaway leaders.

Alexander-Arnold has effectively ruled out a move away from the Merseyside giants by revealing a desire to become a player to be remembered at the club.

"I've always wanted to be a club legend. Winning titles, playing as many matches as possible, winning matches, becoming captain," Alexander-Arnold told Sportbladet.

"Of course, I can't become a legend if I leave Liverpool to play elsewhere. So, my focus is there and on making the club as successful as possible."

Alexander-Arnold's current deal at Anfield will run until the summer of 2024.
