Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Sunday's Premier League showdown with Manchester City.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that he has a fully-fit squad for Sunday's top-of-the-table Premier League showdown with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

The Reds - who sit one point behind Pep Guardiola's side in the rankings - welcomed Trent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita back to the starting lineup for the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Benfica following their respective injury woes.

Fabinho left the field with a cut to his head at the Estadio da Luz, but he has not suffered a concussion or any lasting damage and will form part of a full-strength Reds side here.

Ibrahima Konate went from hero to zero with a goal before a mistake allowed Darwin Nunez to score in midweek, and the Frenchman should cede his place in front of Alisson Becker to the returning Joel Matip.

Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson are shoo-ins at the back, and Alexander-Arnold ought to be fit enough to reprise his right-back role after Joe Gomez started last week's win over Watford.

Fabinho will be fine to line up in his usual midfield role alongside Thiago Alcantara, and the fresh legs of Jordan Henderson will hope to force their way back in over Keita.

Klopp's biggest selection headaches undoubtedly lie in attack, where Mohamed Salah will surely not be dropped despite a couple of underwhelming displays recently.

After both netting at the Estadio da Luz, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz could once again join Salah in the final third, leaving Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino to try to make an impact from the bench.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago; Salah, Mane, Diaz
