Team News: Leeds United short at right-back

Tom Lees is forced to play at right-back for Leeds United tonight as both Lee Peltier and Sam Byram are injured for the trip to Reading.

Leeds United will start tonight's game at Reading without a recognised right-back with both Lee Peltier and Sam Bryam not fit.

Tom Lees has shifted across from central defence to fill the gap in Brian McDermott's only change to the side that beat Bolton Wanderers for tonight's trip to his former club.

Royals boss Nigel Adkins has made three changes to his starting XI that drew with Brighton & Hove Albion, one of them forced because of Pavel Pogrebnyak's dismissal on Sunday.

The Russian is replaced by Nick Blackman while Adam Le Fondre is also dropped up front, with Hal Robson-Kanu joining Royston Drenthe to support Blackman.

In defence, Wayne Bridge's impressive substitute display against Brighton sees him start in place of Chris Gunter.

Reading: McCarthy; Kelly, Morrison, Pearce, Bridge; Karacan, Guthrie, Williams; Drenthe, Robson-Kanu, Blackman

Leeds: Kenny; Lees, Pearce, Wootton, Warnock; Murphy, Austin, Tonge; McCormack, Varney, Hunt
