Granada triumph 3-0 over fellow strugglers Osasuna to breathe life into their fight for survival in La Liga.

Granada have scored a vital victory in the battle to beat the drop in La Liga with a 3-0 victory over relegation rivals Osasuna.

Youssef El-Arabi's first-half goal was all that was needed for the Andalusian side to take maximum points at Los Carmenes, lifting them seven clear of Deportivo La Coruna.

The Moroccan international found the net from close range in the 23rd minute after being found inside the box by Guillherme Siqueira.

El Grana goalkeeper Roberto was called into action before the break to deny Emiliano Armenteros and Francisco Silva from levelling the scores.

Miguel de las Cuevas came close to finding the equaliser in the 71st minute, but his long-range effort came crashing off the woodwork.

A glorious chance to double the hosts' lead was squandered by Odion Ighalo in the 67th minute, while Javi Arribas missed two opportunities of his own for Los Rojillos.

However, the points were made certain when Siqueira dispatched a penalty 10 minutes from time after Nano had brought down Yacine Brahimi inside the box.

Diego Buonanotte's goal in the third minute of injury time put the icing on the cake for Lucas Alcaraz's side.

Defeat leaves Osasuna just four points above the relegation zone, having played one game more than Deportivo.
