Granada beat Getafe 2-0 on the final day of the La Liga season.

Granada have ended their La Liga season with a win over Getafe this evening.

The home side ran out 2-0 winners against a Getafe side who effectively had little to play for.

After a quiet opening period, it was Granada who took the lead when Nolito found himself free in the box to finish a good team move from close range.

The away side could only manage a couple of long-range efforts in the first half, but on both occasions Pedro Leon was unable to really test the goalkeeper.

Midway through the second period, Granada doubled their lead when Youssef El Arabi fired past the goalkeeper from inside the box after a quick break from the hosts.

That was to be the end of the scoring and the result means that Granada finish in 15th, while Getafe just miss out of Europe in 10th.
