Arsenal are allegedly contemplating whether to cash in on defender Gabriel Magalhaes during the summer transfer window.

Arsenal are reportedly open to cashing in on defender Gabriel Magalhaes during the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old has impressed in the centre of the Gunners backline this campaign, contributing a total of four goals from 33 starts in the Premier League.

Although Arsenal only possess the eighth-best defensive record in England's top flight, Gabriel's performances have stood out as the club attempt to earn a place in next season's Champions League.

However, according to Tuttosport, the North London outfit may be prepared to part ways with the Brazil international if they receive a suitable offer.

Gabriel is said to have cost £27m, including add-ons, when he signed in 2020, and Arsenal would expect to receive in excess of £50m if they were to consider any bids over the coming months.

The report claims that Juventus hold a strong interest in Gabriel at a time when the Serie A club are looking for a replacement for Giorgio Chiellini, who is ending his long-term association with the Turin-based side.
