Sky picks up the complete series of The Walking Dead including the upcoming spinoff The Ones Who Live.

Sky has signed a deal to become the new home of The Walking Dead Universe in the UK.

As part of the agreement with AMC, Sky Max will premiere the full first season of the latest spinoff, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, on May 31.

All eleven seasons of the original show have now become available via Sky and NOW, with season one of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon joining in August and the new second season following later in the year.

The other show covered in the deal is The Walking Dead: Dead City, with season one available "later in 2024" and season two coming in 2025.

Lucy Criddle, Sky's director of acquisitions, said: "The Walking Dead Universe has a huge and ardent UK fanbase and we know audiences on Sky and NOW will be buzzing to see Rick Grimes and Michonne reunited in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, as well as being able to dip into the wider universe, enjoying all 11 seasons of the original The Walking Dead series, as well as new spin-offs Daryl Dixon and Dead City."

Spinoff shows not currently available under the deal include Fear the Walking Dead (eight seasons), World Beyond (two seasons) and Tales of the Walking Dead (one season).
