Katie Price 'rushed to hospital with suspected infection'

Katie Price is reportedly in hospital with a suspected infection of her broken feet.

Katie Price is reportedly back in hospital after picking up a suspected infection on her broken feet.

The 42-year-old is facing at least six months in a wheelchair after breaking both of her feet while on holiday in Turkey, although doctors have warned her that it could be two years before she is fully healed.

Following a six-hour surgery last week, Price is said to be in so much agony that she is barely able to sleep or eat, and now The Sun reports that she has suffered a fresh setback.

"Katie was in excruciating agony all night, couldn't eat, couldn't focus and nothing was working," a source told the newspaper. "Painkillers weren't touching it so pals rushed her to A&E in Epsom.

"Doctors decided to move her to the Chelsea and Westminster hospital for further treatment but the fear is she could have an infection."

Price is said to have been "terrified" of picking up an infection as it could possibly lead to an amputation.
