Take a first look look at Channel 4 drama Vardy V Rooney: A Courtroom Drama ahead of its premiere next month.

Channel 4 has released the first images from its upcoming dramatisation of the infamous Wagatha Christie case.

Called Vardy V Rooney: A Courtroom Drama, the piece will recreate the 2019 spat between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney, wives of former England footballers Jamie Vardy and Wayne Rooney, which saw Coleen accuse Rebekah of leaking stories about her to the press.

The saga culminated in a much-publicised trial at the High Court - and the new drama will lean on actual court transcripts as part of the production.

The cast includes Michael Sheen as Rooney barrister David Sherborne, Simon Coury as opposite number Hugh Tomlinson, Chanel Cresswell as Coleen, Natalia Tena as Rebekah, Dion Lloyd as Wayne and Marton Nagyszokolyai as Jamie.
