Buckingham Palace reveals the identities of the 30 people attending the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral on Saturday.

Buckingham Palace has confirmed the names of the 30 people who will attend Prince Philip's funeral this Saturday.

The Duke of Edinburgh died last Friday at the age of 99 and will be laid to rest this weekend, although current coronavirus regulations mean that the number of mourners will be strictly capped at 30.

The Queen has drawn up the guest list, which includes their four children, all of their grandchildren and their respective partners, the children of Princess Margaret, three of Philip's German relatives and his close friend The Countess Mountbatten of Burma.

"The arrangements have been agreed and represent Her Majesty's wishes," a spokesman said.

"All of the arrangements have been signed off by Her Majesty.

"All the arrangements are being done to meet with the Duke's wishes and Her Majesty making the final decision."

The Palace has also confirmed that the Duke's four children - Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward - will walk behind the procession of the coffin en route to church, followed by Prince William and Prince Harry - although the two brothers will walk with cousin Peter Phillips in between them.

Although the number of people physically present for the service is limited, the ceremony will still be televised to a global audience.
