Ofcom receives 90 complaints over 'Saturday Night Takeaway' F-bomb

Ninety viewers complain to TV regulator Ofcom over swearing during a live segment of Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

TV regulator Ofcom has received 90 complaints after the F-word was broadcast during last weekend's episode of Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

A live segment during the show saw two women surprised during the 'Magic Mike Live' show when their husbands came out on stage to perform a strip routine.

The wives were subsequently brought up on stage by Stephen Mulhern to get their reaction, and one told him: "I thought fuck me, is that my husband?"

Mulhern immediately apologised for the woman's "potty mouth", with host Declan Donnelly later blaming "two hunky men and an excitable audience" for her profanity.

Takeaway will return this weekend without a live studio audience for the first time due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
