Emily Atack, Laura Whitmore 'to be new team captains on Celebrity Juice'

Emily Atack and Laura Whitmore are reportedly in line to take over as new team captains on ITV2's Celebrity Juice.

The Inbetweeners star Emily Atack and Love Island host Laura Whitmore have reportedly been chosen as the two new team captains on Celebrity Juice.

The long-running ITV2 panel show was in need of new captains after the departure of Holly Willoughby, who had been on the series for 12 years, and Mel B earlier this year.

Atack is a long-term collaborator with host Keith Lemon on shows such as The Keith Lemon Sketch Show and Lemon La Vida Loca, while Whitmore has been a regular guest panellist over the last few years.

"The show definitely needed a bit of a shake-up and bosses hope Emily and Laura can do that. It's one of ITV's biggest brands and there's still lots of fun to be had with it," a source told The Sun.

"Keith can't wait to initiate the new team captains into the show and there are plenty of surprises lined up for viewers."

Celebrity Juice is expected to return to ITV2 for its 24th series in October.
