Russell Crowe joins cast of Kraven The Hunter
Russell Crowe is cast in the new Spider-Man spinoff movie Kraven The Hunter.

Russell Crowe has joined the cast of new Spider-Man spinoff movie Kraven The Hunter in an unspecified role.

The new film is the latest in a series of Spidey spinoff properties that also includes the Venom franchise and the upcoming Morbius.

Kraven will star Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the titular character, one of Spider-Man's fiercest adversaries who is determined to capture the superhero and prove himself as the ultimate "hunter".

Crowe's part has not yet been disclosed - although it is understood to be distinct from the role of Zeus that he is playing in the upcoming MCU movie Thor: Love and Thunder.

Kraven The Hunter is scheduled for release on January 13, 2023.
