Dianne Buswell has reportedly signed up to take part in this year's edition of Celebrity MasterChef.

The 33-year-old has been part of the professional lineup on Strictly Come Dancing for the last six years and was a finalist in 2018 with her now-boyfriend Joe Sugg.

Celebrity MasterChef has a tradition of featuring stars of Strictly on the show, with the likes of AJ Pritchard, Katya Jones, Johannes Radebe and Oti Mabuse having previously taken part.

According to The Sun, Aussie dancer Buswell is the latest to join that club for the new series, which is being filmed in the coming months.

A source told the newspaper: "Strictly stars always seem to be popular with MasterChef producers, not to mention the viewers at home.

"That is why almost every year they select a famous face from within the show's ranks of pros. And they always seem to do rather well.

"Although their dance skills don't help them much in the kitchen, their natural competitiveness does give them the edge over many of the other celeb cooks."

Celebrity MasterChef is expected to air on BBC One this summer.
