The Wanted singer Max George reportedly signs up for the new series of Celebrity MasterChef.

The Wanted star Max George is reportedly in the lineup for this year's edition of Celebrity MasterChef.

The 34-year-old singer will be reunited on the cookery contest with his Strictly Come Dancing pro partner from 2020, Dianne Buswell, who is also in the lineup.

Other names linked include '80s icon Sam Fox, singer Jamelia, Emmerdale's Amy Walsh, Drag Race star Cheryl Hole and 'Go Compare' singer Wynne Evans.

"Max is the latest famous face to sign up to Celebrity MasterChef," a source told The Sun.

"Max's Wanted bandmate Tom Parker, who died last year, took part in the cookery series back in 2015 – so taking part is bound to bring back memories for Max.

"He is better at singing than he is at cooking, but he has told people he will throw the kitchen sink at the show in a bid to win it."

The new series is currently being filmed and will air on BBC One and iPlayer this summer.
