Elizabeth Olsen hints at big-name WandaVision guest star

WandaVision's Elizabeth Olsen suggests that a big-name guest star will appear before the series ends.

Warning: This article contains spoilers about both WandaVision and The Mandalorian which some readers may prefer to avoid.

Elizabeth Olsen has suggested that a big-name star could make a cameo before WandaVision comes to an end.

The Disney+ miniseries has reunited Olsen's Wanda Maximoff with Vision (Paul Bettany) in a bizarre sitcom-like universe, while other established characters from the Marvel movies to appear so far include Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) and Jimmy Woo (Randall Park).

Fans of The Mandalorian were surprised when Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker appeared in the recent season two finale, and in an interview with TV Line, Olsen was asked if WandaVision had a surprise of a similar level in store.

"Yes," she replied with a laugh, adding that she was surprised the casting had not yet leaked but is "really excited" for fans to find out.

WandaVision is known to serve as a lead-in to the new Doctor Strange film, prompting some fans to speculate that the cameo in question could be Benedict Cumberbatch, while others have suggested that Aaron Taylor-Johnson could return as Wanda's deceased twin brother Pietro.

The next episode of WandaVision is released on Disney+ at 8am UK time on Friday.
