ITV is reportedly keen to sign up Gillian McKeith for the upcoming 'all stars' edition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The spinoff show, hosted by Ant and Dec, will reunite some of I'm A Celeb's most popular contestants over the years for a two-week competition in South Africa.

The likes of Kim Woodburn, Caitlyn Jenner and Katie Price have previously been linked with the show and according to The Sun, McKeith, who memorably fainted during a live bush tucker trial in 2010, is also in the frame.

"Gillian's performance in 2010 was nothing short of legendary," a source told the newspaper. "She was high on the hit list when producers decided they were going to do the Best Of series next year.

"She's all but confirmed now. Talks are still ongoing and advanced, but everyone is confident she will put pen to paper and head to South Africa for filming in the next few months. It'll be telly gold."

The series will be pre-recorded this summer for broadcast early in 2023.
