Danny Miller beats Simon Gregson and Frankie Bridge to be crowned champion of this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Former Emmerdale actor Danny Miller has been crowned champion of this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The 30-year-old, whose final scenes on the ITV soap aired earlier this month, triumphed over Coronation Street legend Simon Gregson in the final vote. The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge had earlier finished in third place.

Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec after the result was announced, Miller said: "I'm speechless for once. Honestly from the bottom of my heart and my family's heart thank you so much.

"This is the best thing that's happened to me, aside from having my son."

Once again this year the show was staged at Gwrych Castle in North Wales due to coronavirus - although it was forced off air for three days a week into its run due to Storm Arwen.

ITV will not have to make a decision on whether the 2022 series will take place in Wales or return to Australia until next summer.
