Hollyoaks announce the casting of Nathaniel Dass as Misbah's "charismatic" nephew Dillon Ray.

Hollyoaks have announced the casting of Nathaniel Dass as the "charismatic" nephew of Misbah (Harvey Virdi).

Dillon Ray will arrive in the village after being kicked out by his mother, Misbah's sister-in-law, for being expelled from school.

The 15-year-old is described as a "lover of life", "effortlessly cool and confident" but "more sensitive than he lets on" as he tries to figure out his own identity.

"I'm so happy to have been welcomed into the Hollyoaks family," said Dass, who has previously appeared in CBBC's Almost Never. "Everyone here is amazing and I've had the best time so far, especially with my new family, the Maaliks.

"I'm super excited for people to see what's in store for my character Dillon. He's got a lot about him so it's going to be fun seeing what kind of trouble he gets into, who he'll become friends with and if there's maybe a few potential romances, you'll have to see."

Dillon Ray will be first seen on screen in E4's first-look episode of Hollyoaks on Thursday, April 20.
