Carley Stenson is named as the ninth celebrity in the lineup for the next series of Dancing On Ice.

West End actress Carley Stenson has been named as the ninth celebrity in the lineup for Dancing On Ice 2023.

The 40-year-old played the role of Steph Cunningham on Hollyoaks between 2000 and 2011, after which she went on to star in shows including Shrek: The Musical, Legally Blonde: The Musical, Spamalot, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Les Miserables.

"I'm so excited that I get to learn how to dance...on ice!" she said. "I'm terrified but can't wait - I just want to make the most of this whole experience."

Stenson joins a lineup that also includes ex-EastEnders star Patsy Palmer, former footballer John Fashanu, Love Island's Ekin-Su Culculoglu, retired gymnast Nile Wilson, Coronation Street actress Mollie Gallagher, RuPaul's Drag Race winner The Vivienne, reality TV veteran Joey Essex and comedian Darren Harriott.

The new series begins on ITV in January, with the remaining celebs in the lineup due to be confirmed this week.
