Bath duo Gavin Henson and Carl Fearns have been fined by the club following their recent fracas in a city-centre pub.

Footage emerged last week which showed Henson being punched to the ground by his teammate.

"The behaviour of some of the players was totally unacceptable and not what we expect from them," club CEO Nick Blofeld is quoted as saying by the Bath Chronicle.

"The two players involved have taken full responsibility for their actions and they have both received written warnings and fines, and we regard the case as now closed."

Henson signed for Bath in June following a brief spell with London Welsh.
