The Wanted singer Tom Parker is filming a programme documenting his battle with a terminal brain tumour.
The 32-year-old revealed last autumn that he had been diagnosed with an inoperable stage 4 glioblastoma, although earlier this year he said that treatment had been effective in shrinking the tumour.
The feature-length documentary - to air as part of Channel 4's Stand Up To Cancer - will follow Tom, his wife and their two young children as they deal with his diagnosis and attempt to stage a benefit concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
"Almost a year ago, my world was turned upside down by my diagnosis," said Parker.
"It's been an emotional few months for me and my family, but I'm determined to both fight the disease and fight the terrible situation of the chronically low level of research that goes towards finding a cure and treatment for glioblastoma.
"In this documentary, as well as exploring the medical and human aspects of this disease, I am determined to raise awareness and raise as much money as we can through the concert to help advance crucial cancer research and develop new treatments."
Channel 4 will also broadcast the concert, with the lineup of performers to be confirmed in the coming months.
