On the day they are due in court, Dylan suggests to Liam that they do a runner following the threats that Mason made. Gary, Maria, Sean and Violet scramble to find the kids - but will they show in court?

Sam is keen to give Roy a visit after all of the awful abuse he's been receiving, but Nick tells him that it's not a good idea. Later, Sam lies and makes out that he's going to see Hope but instead arrives at Roy's and suggests that they have a game of chess.

Nick catches Leanne with her eyes closed and she calmly explains that she's "reality coding" in order to get rid of anything unexpected. Meanwhile, Toyah manages to catch Rowan before he leaves for the States and questions him on the Autovalent Institute, suggesting that he's causing harm to people. Later, Toyah warns Nick that Rowan is a fraud and they need to ensure that he doesn't end up taking all of Leanne's money.

In the night, Kerry secretly records Roy's living room alongside a commentary painting him out to be a murderer. The next day, Kerry takes note when Sam pops round and tells Roy that he's his BFF - but later, Roy's left shaken when he gets a call from Lauren's actual mum Kerry asking him not to get in touch again. Under pressure, Alice admits that she's not really Kerry.

Roy and Evelyn head out with Freddie and are confronted by Alice filming them. When Roy tries to stop her, she falls and bangs her head, but that's just the start of his troubles...

Gary invites Sarah back to the flat and over some wine, she opens up about Damon's sentencing and he tells her that he thinks Maria's overprotective behaviour towards Liam may be ruining their relationship. When Dee-Dee calls to say that Damon has been given six years, Sarah starts crying and Gary comforts her.
