Free speech campaigner Inaya Folarin Iman joins GB News as a morning presenter.

Inaya Folarin Iman has become the latest addition to the presenting team for upcoming news channel GB News.

The journalist is a regular debater on Good Morning Britain, Sky News and Politics Live and last year founded The Equiano Project, an organisation which promotes free speech and encourages debate.

Iman will be part of the morning presenting team on GB News when it launches in the coming months and will appear five days a week in a full-time role.

"I'm excited to begin a new adventure with GB News, exploring and discussing the big ideas and questions of today across the United Kingdom," she said.

"Journalism is at its best when it's committed to a diverse range of viewpoints and asking challenging questions, and I see this reflected in the ideals of GB News."

John McAndrew, head of programming at the channel, said: "Inaya has a refreshing take on stories and the warmth and intellect to bring out the best in interviews. Her youthful perspective will be a breath of fresh air in our national debate."

Other GB News presenters announced so far include chairman Andrew Neil, Colin Brazier, Dan Wootton and Michelle Dewberry.
