Crystal Palace confirm three first-team contract extensions and two departures
Crystal Palace have confirmed that Will Hughes, Jeffrey Schlupp and Joel Ward have all extended their contracts with the club.
The Eagles trio, who have made a combined 672 appearances between them (Hughes 82, Schlupp 230 and Ward 360), have all extended their deals until the summer of 2025.
All three players have served as core members of the first-team squad and remain in the plans of new manager Oliver Glasner, who replaced Roy Hodgson in mid-February.
Captain Ward has been at Palace since 2012 and the 34-year-old has featured regularly as either a right-back or right-sided centre-back this season, making 25 Premier League appearances.
Sean Dyche provides update on defender's future at Everton
Sean Dyche has said that the "mindset" of Everton captain Seamus Coleman "is to keep playing" next season ahead of Saturday's final home fixture of the current campaign against Sheffield United.
Coleman joined Everton back in 2009 for just £60,000 from Irish club Sligo Rovers and has since made a total of 420 appearances for the Toffees across all competitions.
The 35-year-old has suffered with several injuries during the latter stages of his career and has been reduced to just 10 Premier League outings this term, including only five starts.
Coleman has earned legendary status at Goodison Park, but his long-term future at the club remains uncertain as he is due to see his contract expire at the end of the season.
'They're every kid's dream team' - Sullivan comments on future Man City move
Cavan Sullivan has confirmed that there is an agreement between his current club Philadelphia Union and Manchester City over a future transfer to the Etihad Stadium.
Philadelphia announced on Thursday that 14-year-old Sullivan has signed the largest homegrown contract in Major League Soccer history.
Sullivan, who joined Philadelphia's academy at the age of 10, now becomes the club's youngest ever player to be added to the first team roster as well as the fifth youngest player to sign a first-team contract in MLS history.
Although the financial details have not been disclosed, Sullivan's record deal runs until 2028 and it has widely been reported that Philadelphia have formed a partnership with Pep Guardiola's Man City, allowing the youngster to make a move to England in four years' time.
PSG drop major Kylian Mbappe future hint in new kit launch
Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have dropped potentially the biggest hint yet that Kylian Mbappe will not be at the club next season.
The former Monaco starlet has now entered the last two months of his contract with Les Parisiens, and he is expected to depart for Real Madrid on a free transfer during the summer transfer window.
Neither PSG nor Los Blancos have officially confirmed Mbappe's decision, and the France international is also yet to make a public announcement, but the signs have been there for a few months now.
In February, Mbappe apparently told PSG that he would be leaving the club when his deal expires at the end of the season, and he has often been omitted from the starting XI or substituted early by head coach Luis Enrique ever since.
Barcelona 'planning 17-player summer exodus in summer'
Barcelona are reportedly open to parting ways with as many as 17 players during the summer.
The Catalan giants have endured a disappointing campaign during 2023-24, failing to defend their La Liga title and currently sitting below second-placed Girona in the standings.
Furthermore, Xavi's side suffered a quarter-final exit to Paris Saint-German in the Champions League, and they will end the campaign trophyless.
Although Barcelona have been boosted by Xavi reversing his decision to depart Camp Nou, the club's hierarchy are under pressure to substantially reduce their wage bill and generate funds ahead of next season.
Man City 'set defender asking price amid Leverkusen, Juventus interest'
Manchester City have reportedly reached a decision over an asking price for defender Yan Couto.
Pep Guardiola's side are currently focused on trying to end the season with another Premier League crown and FA Cup trophy to their name.
However, there is expected to be transfer activity during the summer as the Spaniard bids to freshen up his squad.
Reports have already indicated that Girona winger Savio - on loan from Troyes - will be completing a transfer to the Etihad Stadium, City able to benefit from their multi-club model.
Brentford midfielder 'set to sign new contract in coming weeks'
Brentford midfielder Josh Dasilva is reportedly set to sign a new contract to extend his six-year stay with the Bees.
Dasilva has made 157 competitive appearances since joining the West London club from Arsenal in the summer of 2018.
The Arsenal academy product featured in 36 Premier League matches last season to help Brentford achieve a top-half finish.
Unfortunately for Dasilva, he spent the majority of the current campaign on the sidelines after suffering hamstring and ankle issues, before he was forced to undergo knee surgery in February.
