West Brom interested in Scott Hogan?
West Bromwich Albion are reportedly considering a £7m January bid for Brentford's prolific striker Scott Hogan.

West Bromwich Albion have been linked with a move for Brentford striker Scott Hogan.

The 24-year-old has caught the eye of several clubs following his performances for the Bees so far this term, which have seen him score 13 times in 21 appearances to rank as the Championship's second top-scorer behind Newcastle United's Dwight Gayle.

Baggies manager Tony Pulis is thought to have significant funds at his disposal next month following the club's takeover by Chinese businessman Guochuan Lai and has already been linked to James McCarthy, Fabian Delph, Morgan Schneiderlin and Benik Afobe in recent weeks.

The side are currently seventh in the Premier League and are believed to be in the hunt for a new frontman in January as they make a surprise push for the European places.

According to The Mirror, Hogan would be available for around £7m, although Pulis's side face competition for his signature from Championship promotion hopefuls Norwich City and Reading.

Hogan joined Brentford from Rochdale in 2014 in a £750,000 deal.
