Jake Livermore will return to action for West Bromwich Albion in Monday night's Premier League encounter at Arsenal, Tony Pulis has confirmed.

Tony Pulis has confirmed that Jake Livermore will return to action for West Bromwich Albion in Monday night's Premier League encounter at Arsenal.

Earlier this week, the Baggies manager revealed that his player had been given some additional time off because he was "jaded".

Both Livermore and Pulis have been quick to play down the extent of any problem, and the West Brom boss has now revealed that the midfielder is available once again.

The Welshman told Sky Sports News: "Everything is fine with Jake, he just needed a couple of days off. There was nothing else to it. He's available for Monday.

"We have one or two knocks but with a couple of days to go, hopefully they'll be okay for Monday. We'll assess them.

"Arsenal are a top team with top players, we're going there knowing it'll be a tough game on Monday. But we look forward to it."

The 27-year-old had started every Premier League game of the season before last Saturday's goalless draw with West Ham United, in addition to being included in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the World Cup qualifiers in June and October.
