Javi Gracia happy to "enjoy the moment" as Watford win at Burnley

Javi Gracia admits that he is "enjoying the moment" after his first away win as Watford manager arrived in Sunday's 3-1 success at Burnley.

Javi Gracia has stated that he prefers to "enjoy the moment" rather than dwell on previous results following Watford's 3-1 win at Burnley on Sunday.

After troubles on the road last term, the Hornets picked up another Premier League victory this season thanks to goals from Andre Gray, Troy Deeney and Will Hughes at Turf Moor.

Watford's win ended a poor sequence of results on the road - which yielded 12 games without a win and eight in a row without a goal - and also marked Gracia's first away win as Hornets boss.

"Today we scored three and we have done better than last season," the Spaniard told BBC Sport. "But I don't like to look back at the statistics of last season; I prefer to enjoy the moment. We did a good job and I'm very happy for the players.

"It is important the amount of goals but the quality as well. Today the strikers Troy Deeney and Andre Gray scored which is very important for them and the team. Will Hughes scored an outstanding goal. I am happy for all of them.

"All the players are working a lot. Troy for example has a brilliant attitude in every training session and we will try to keep that in the next games."

Watford have won their opening two matches in a top-flight league season for only the second time, last doing so in 1982-83.
