Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos reportedly tells president Florentino Perez that PSG are waiting to sign him as talks over a new contract continue.

Real Madrid stalwart Sergio Ramos has reportedly warned the club that Paris Saint-Germain are ready and waiting to pounce if talks over a new contract do not bear fruit.

The 100-goal defender is able to negotiate with other clubs after entering the final six months of his deal with the La Liga champions, although Zinedine Zidane has expressed his desire to extend Ramos's contract.

The 34-year-old has since been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League, with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City both believed to be monitoring the situation closely.

Now, Spanish radio programme El Larguero claims that Ramos has informed Real Madrid president Florentino Perez of PSG's interest and is not prepared to commit his future to Los Blancos.

The Ligue 1 champions - who recently appointed Mauricio Pochettino as their new head coach - supposedly want to convince Ramos to come to the French capital and line up in the same team as Lionel Messi, who is also expected to leave Barcelona this summer.

Real Madrid are understood to have identified Bayern Munich's David Alaba as a potential replacement if Ramos does leave, but talks over a move for the Austrian have reportedly stalled over wage demands.
