Bayern Munich reportedly enter the race to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur in January.

Bayern Munich have reportedly entered the race to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur in January.

The Dane, whose contract expires at the end of this season, was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid over the summer transfer window.

It is claimed that Spurs are willing to countenance a move away for Eriksen in January in order to avoid seeing the midfielder leave for free next summer.

According to Sport1, the Bundesliga champions are now exploring the possibility of making a move for Eriksen in January.

Following a challenging start to the 2019-20 season, Eriksen would also prefer to secure a move away from North London in January.

Reports over the summer claimed that Manchester United had also voiced their interest, but the 27-year-old was not interested in a move to Old Trafford.
